Cognitive Therapy

Cognitive therapy focuses on altering negative patterns of thought about oneself and others and helps to modify these negative thoughts in order to change unwanted behaviour patterns. The main aim is to develop alternative thoughts which result in reducing distress to the patient. Cognitive therapy has ben proven to be effective in treatment of anxiety, depression and addiction.

Behavioural Therapy

Behavioural therapy targets modification of unhealthy and maladaptive behaviour patterns and focuses at reinforcing adaptive behaviour by using various techniques such as Exposure therapy - Systematic desensitisation, Exposure Response Prevention (ERP). This therapy has been proven beneficial for treating conditions like phobias and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD).

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT combines principles of both cognitive therapy and behavioural therapy. It focuses on how one's own thoughts, emotions, and behaviours are connected to each other and how thoughts influence our emotions and behaviour. It aides in better understanding of one's thoughts and behaviour and additionally, helps in modifying the distorted thoughts and behaviours into positives ones.

Couple Therapy 
(Marital Counselling)

Couple therapy or counselling focuses on evaluation of differences in opinion and issues of conflict between a couple. It aims at resolving those interpersonal conflicts in order to strengthen the bond and relationship.

Family Therapy

Family therapy helps to understand and improve interfamilial relationships and behavioural patterns of the family. It aims at identifying and addressing issues that affect the members of the family mentally.

Supportive Psychotherapy

Supportive psychotherapy aims to reduce the intensity of manifested symptoms, distress or disability. It also reduces the extent of behavioural disruptions caused by the patient's disturbances. It aims to improve symptoms and maintain, restore or improve self-esteem and skills.
